This edition has an extra 8 pages that round out the information, and many of the pages have been almost rewritten. Not so much to change the content as to make it more complete and as readable as possible.

There is one extra page at the beginning so that we now cover the more recent history of sacred geometry within the European mystery schools and secret societies. We point out the influence of the Hermetic writings around the 1600s, and introduce the idea of 'contemplative geometry, that was popular throughout the last millennia. This allows the next page about the influence of the Greek Philosophers to be more focused on their immense contribution to Western thought and culture.

There is a new section in the middle of the book about numbers and mathematics, as it seemed crazy not to acknowledge that the more abstract numerical patterns are just as important as the more visual and spacial geometric patterns.

And lastly, there is a new page that more fully honours the contributions of the Vedic culture to mathematics and geometry and the idea of sacredness.

Watch this space for news of its upcoming release 🙂

]]>Do you mean that, for instance, if the length of three edges is in proportions 3 : 5 : 8

then the new face would be a point of a 5 pointed star?

That seems counter-intuitive to me.

I can imagine that if the lengths were 3 : 3 : 5

that the new face might approximate a star point,

but "any three terms of the Fibonacci series" seems like it would often generate a new face

that was not an isosceles triangle, let alone a golden ratio one.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding what you mean?

]]>The Sri Yantra entered my life in an interesting way and I just now discovered the Metatron's cube and I am wondering about how they are connected and which came first...kind of a compare and contrast...

]]>Which would it be the true measure of a 'little error' when you zoom it to the infinity that this diagram deserves?

That the central triangle should be equilateral is a hoax, pure improvisation.

If so, it should evenly be equilateral the triangle of which it is the lower tip…

Well, I could build an exact model as such, but I know it would not achieve a good quality.

Here:

http://eye-of-revelation.org/P.....Yantra.pdf

the architectural engineering of the Sri Yantra is solved up to be PERFECT - i.e. NO 'LITTLE ERRORS' - for the first time ever on earth.

There can be none else, no fixed method, since the number of different and exact Sri yantras obtainable by the THEORY (free) program, with any custom number of decimals, is unpredictable.
