Where did the energy for everything we see come from?

From an inexplicable explosion of nothing a very long time ago?

I think not…  that was just a bad Jesuit joke that unfortunately a lot of people took very seriously :-(

In which case… can the same source from which all the observable energy arose be tapped into still?

Science has captured the lightning bolt and shown it to be subject to manipulation by human/machine intelligence. Can we go a step further and begin to draw energy from space and time themselves?

Why do so many inventors seem to think that geometry is the key to doing just this ?

Im very much looking forward to the release of this documentary about the work of Nassim Haramein.

He has a working model of a device that he claims draws energy directly from the quantum field.

I think it is a very intriguing idea and sounds like it could be very useful. My concerns is how stable it would be to hack into the matrix for energy. Where would this energy be mined from and would it create and energetic ripple across the galaxy and if so what could be the potential consequences of such things? Also how much would you need and how long would the energy last before you needed more. would it be possible to use this technology for free energy?

IMHO Nassim is building a machine that draws energy from the same infinite source that the energy in each atom and galaxy and black hole comes from.

Energy is relative – by which I mean that like speed and size you need to choose some arbitrary energy to compare a certain energy to in order to describe its intensity. This doesnt mean that you cant measure the temperature of a cup of coffee but it means that the reading you get depends on whether you use a human thermomenter or a Trafalmadorian one.

Our culture has become stuck in a very limiting concept of conservation of energy in a closed system.
We are surrounded not only by various energies that can be tapped into and converted into energies we can use, but also by the energy of the vacuum or quantum ocean that is constantly creating something out of nothing.

If we can just stop fighting over worthless resources for a moment we may discover we are surrounded by an infinite abundance of treasures.

I do think that there is an abundance that most don’t realize is there but the potential consequences of playing with a force we don’t understand yet could be hazardous. I simply want to see that proper research is conducted and shared for others to understand.

now that would be a sensible idea for the worlds scientists to adopt ;-)
